2008 Trophy Festival a huge Success!

This year's NTSA Trophy Festival was a big success. It was held Saturday, March 8 at Hurst Hills Elementary School. 174 students participated. I'd like to thank the administration for allowing us to use the school building and give a big thank-you to Denae Chance, host teacher for the event. Denae did the prep work to get the facilities ready for us to use.

Lisa Gonzalez of Gonzalez Awards and Engraving made all the trophies for us. They were beautifully done and the kids loved getting to choose which one they wanted to take home.

Many thanks to a marvelous group of clinicians: Jane Aten, Kathy Berry, Charles Krigbaum, Jackie Luce, Betty Massey, Rigo Murillo, Vilma Miranda, Elizabeth Pritchard, and Christine Auger Velez, for the super job they did listening to our students and giving them great comments.

Meg Rosson , deserves our gratitude for manning the check-in table and directing parents and children to the right classroom.

Finally, I'd like to thank the teachers who brought students to this event: Jane Aten, Denae Chance, Mary Margaret Haraden, Davis Holden, Rachel Holt, Charles Krigbaum, Jackie Luce, Betty Massey, Rigo Murillo, Elizabeth Pritchard, Susan and Vincent Pugh, Patty Purcell, Amy Tomlinson, and Christine Auger Velez. Thanks for preparing your students and making the effort to have them participate this year!
