Dear Suzuki Teachers,

Here is information for the 2010 NTSA Suzuki Trophy Festival to be held at North Euless Elementary school on March 6 from 9:00 AM – 2:00PM. We cordially invite you and your students to participate. The purpose of the event is to provide an opportunity for students to perform for a clinician/adjudicator and to receive positive comments or suggestions as well as a trophy—tangible evidence of their effort and accomplishments. All violin, viola, cello, bass, and harp students who currently study with a Suzuki teacher are invited to participate. Piano students, who study with a Suzuki teacher, are also invited to participate, but due to the limited number of pianos available for use, will be accepted on a first come first served basis.

Posted on the website and available for you to download are: “Teachers’ Information,” a “Master Registration Form,” and a sample “Comment Form” for your use; a “Student and Parent Information” sheet with “Student Registration Form” at the bottom, to be copied and distributed to your students. Please list participating students in the order you prefer, indicating time preference, if it is an issue, on the “Master Registration Form” and return it with the lower section of the Student and Parent Information sheet—“Student Registration Form.” We will try to schedule all of your students together in one block of time. If you turn in your registration materials by the deadline, you will have a better chance of getting the time you prefer. Please return all registration material, by February 19, to:

This year, we have made a change in how to collect payments from your students. Instead of having parents write a check for the registration fee to you, you may have them write the check directly to NTSA (North Texas Suzuki Association) and then just send all the checks with your registration materials to me.

Let me know if you have questions. Please make copies of the forms provided as they are needed. If you have not received confirmation by March 1, please contact me.
